How Gollie Bands Started

We watched the news as the Covid-19 pandemic started. As a mother, I was worried for the safety of my family, my friends, and all those in our morning prayer line. We began wearing masks while we prayed for peace, love, and hope through these times.

It quickly became obvious these masks were not made for comfort: my daughter’s and my ears began hurting within the first hour of wear. All other ear savers were not as versatile; they were not the answer either, “There has to be another way!” I thought to myself.

I didn’t want to put our health or others in jeopardy by not wearing a mask due to their discomfort. I wanted something comfortable that would encourage me to wear my mask all the time and keep me and others happy and healthy.  

I went to bed, and God gave me the design of the göllie band in a dream.  My husband, Ron, and my kids were very supportive and encouraged me to make it a reality. God is an amazing God! I hope you will start your day protected and happy by using the göllie band with every mask you own.
